Notify List Information

We are flattered that a lot of our pups are adopted by families that have been referred to us or by families that want a second dachshund.  Therefore, we do not advertise available pups.  Instead we maintain a list of interested families.

When the pups are born, I will start going down the list and contact families. When your name comes up, you then have the option of coming to visit the pups and their parents and see how we raise the pups in our home.  At that time, we will accept a $200 (non-refundable) deposit to hold your pup until he/she is ready to go home.  The deposit will be applied to the total adoption fee leaving the balance due when you pick up your pup.

General Information

AKC recognizes 2 sizes of dachshunds, miniatures which are 11 lbs and under and standards which are 16-32 lbs. We raise miniature dachshunds.   Most of our dachshunds are in the 9-11 lb. range.

We raise longhair and smooth coats.  All of our longhair pups are either pale cream or shaded cream.  Our smooth coat pups can be black and tan, blue and tan, chocolate and tan, or isabella and tan in solid, piebald or dapple.

We do not ship our pups. Puppies can be picked up in Wentzville, MO. We accept the following forms of payment: Cash and postal money order. We do not knowingly sell to pet stores, puppy mills or puppy brokers. We Reserve The Right To Refuse Service To Anyone.

Adoption Information

Our puppies are sold as pets without papers.

All puppies are sold on a spay/neuter contract.

ADOPTION FEES:  Smooth coat pups $800 and longhair pups $900

All of our pups will receive age appropriate vaccines and preventive wormings.  Their dew claws will be removed, and they will be seen by our vet for a puppy wellness check at 7 weeks of age.  Each puppy has a 1 year health guarantee against life threatening birth defects.

We send home a puppy packet with each puppy that includes health records, a puppy booklet with helpful tips, a sample bag of puppy food, & a toy with the puppy's mother and littermate's scent on it.

Regarding Price: Since dachshunds typically live 12-15 years, you are investing in a companion that will be enjoyed for many wonderful years to come. We take great care to have healthy, happy puppies.  We feed them quality food, give appropriate immunizations, and socialize them as part of our family. Because of the investment we put into our dogs to ensure their good health and temperament, we are not interested in selling them at discounted prices.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
